Nike wanted us to develop custom media placements to create motivational brand messaging among runners at the 2015 NIKE Women’s Run. With the run taking place on Toronto Island, there were limited areas to showcase visual communication of Nike’s branding. Our challenge was to set up integrated marketing communications in the lower Bay St. Corridor to encourage runner interaction before and after they got off the ferry. While scouting we saw the benefit of using giant pillar warps in the corridor and established an experiential photo box for runners to use as a backdrop for pictures.
The goal was to provide a memorable first-hand experience while showing people that Nike is there to help them reach their fitness goals. The pillar wraps and photo box were very popular, creating a lot of brand awareness and many memorable interactions for Nike.
